Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who are blind or have low vision, people who are deaf or hard of hearing, people with motor or cognitive disabilities and people who cannot speak.
Statement prepared on 14 October 2026.
Commitment and legal basis
EF Engenharia e Soluções maintains this website in line with article 63 of the Brazilian Law for the Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities (Law No. 13,146/2015), which makes accessibility mandatory for websites run by companies headquartered or commercially represented in Brazil.
Standard adopted
Our conformance target is level AA of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. We also use eMAG (the Brazilian Government's e-Government Accessibility Model) as a reference.
We consider the website partially conformant: we aim to meet every level AA criterion, and the known limitations are listed below.
Accessibility features
- Accessibility panel (the “Accessibility” button at the bottom left of every page): text size from 100% to 150%, high contrast, highlighted links, a readable font with wider letter, word and line spacing, and an option to stop animations. Your choices are saved in your browser.
- Libras: translation of the text into Brazilian Sign Language with VLibras, a Brazilian Federal Government tool, on the Portuguese pages. It is only loaded when you turn it on in the panel.
- Listen to this page: the main content, or a selected passage, is read aloud by your own browser, with pause and stop options.
- Full keyboard navigation, with a clearly visible focus indicator and a “Skip to content” link at the start of every page.
- Screen-reader-friendly structure: header, navigation, main content and footer regions, headings in a logical order, text alternatives for images and accessible names for buttons and icons.
- Forms with visible labels, required fields clearly marked, autofill for name, email, phone and company, and error and confirmation messages announced by screen readers.
- 100% text-based service: you can contact us by WhatsApp, email or form, with no need to make a phone call.
- Respect for the system's reduced-motion preference and a button to pause the client logo carousel.
- Links that open in a new tab are identified for screen readers.
- Content available in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French and Chinese.
How we evaluate
- Automated tests with axe-core (WCAG 2.2 level AA criteria), run on every change to the website in our continuous integration process.
- Automated keyboard-navigation tests (accessibility panel and forms) and reflow tests, with no horizontal scrolling on 320 px screens and with enlarged text.
- A manual review with screen readers (NVDA and VoiceOver) is scheduled.
Known limitations
- VLibras is an external Brazilian Federal Government service: it only works on the Portuguese pages, depends on the service being available and uses machine translation, which may not be perfect.
- Read-aloud depends on the voices available in your browser or operating system; when the browser does not support it, the option is not shown.
- The anti-bot check on the forms (Cloudflare Turnstile) and the external websites we link to (social networks, WhatsApp, Google Maps and Waze) belong to third parties, and we do not control their accessibility.
- The website has no video or audio content. If any is published, it will have captions or a text transcript.
- The versions in other languages are translations; in case of any discrepancy, the Portuguese text prevails.
